Bad Teacher

Bad Teacher
“We expect teachers to handle teenage pregnancy, substance abuse, and the failings of the family.  Then we expect them to educate our children”.  ~John Sculley
A saying that is supposed to be the role of a good teacher. But in a movie that I’ve watched the Bad Teacher, it reflected the opposite.
Once everybody heard the title and saw the trailer for this, they automatically thought of “Bad Santa”.
This movie centered on a blasphemous, junior high teacher who, after being dumped by her sugar daddy, begins to woo a colleague -- a move that pits her against a well-loved teacher. This is the type of all-embracing comedy that is generally funny, kind of delicate, but definitely crowd-pleasing.  The film is also the sort of comedy that’s nearly perfect for whiling away a summer afternoon: mostly funny, mostly superficial, and easy to forget after you leave the theater.  At least it stars two really funny women, though.
The basic principle of the movie is the fact that Elizabeth is so ill-suited for the profession of teaching (almost to the point of it being criminal) is never explored.  With a cast as talented as this one, those sorts of plot holes almost don’t matter. She's foul-mouthed, ruthless, and inappropriate. She drinks, she gets high, and she can't wait to marry her meal ticket and get out of her spurious day job. And aside from that, hands down the funniest movie of the year so far, thanks to Cameron Diaz's larky, yet alluring performance, the absolutely marvelous supporting cast, and last but not least - the smart and witty script full of clever jokes and amusingly awkward situations that bring tons of laughs.
Bad Teacher had me laughing. The cast makes this a somewhat enjoyable dark comedy.

Horrible Bosses

Do you have a horrible boss?  Would you like one?
It’s really hard to work right? Especially when you unfortunately got bosses that are shall we say horrific.
Speaking of horrible bosses, have you seen the movie Horrible Bosses?  What did you think of it? I loved it. Horrible Bosses presented with an all-star cast and a plot that we can all relate to oh so easily!
In the film, the only thing that would make the daily grind more tolerable for Nick (Jason Bateman), Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) and Dale (Charlie Day), would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust.
The three stars of the film have fantastic chemistry here. Each is bringing drastically different characters to life, and their interactions are keys to the audience enjoying the film. Aside from that, the movie combines a simplistic storyline and manuscript-the ingredients for a great movie.
What makes Horrible Bosses an acceptably good comedy? It's got a semi-plausible storyline with characters that people can sort of relate to. That is, three of the worst sorts of bosses anyone is likely to meet, and three very unhappy fellas who would love to have them killed.

Crazy, Stupid, LOVE!

One of the most mysterious word and verb for me is "love." We have tried to define love many times but what does love really mean?
When I watched this movie, Crazy, Stupid, Love, which careens madly between movie-life and real-life, movie-love and real-love, I’m not sure – at least at first – how to react.
Crazy Stupid Love is a romantic comedy with an indie edge to it, giving me hope for the genre. The cast is impressive with Steve Carrell (Cal), Juliana Moore (Emily), Ryan Gosling (Jacob), Emma Stone (Hannah) and newcomer Analeigh Tipton (Jessica) starring. Cal finds himself separated from his wife Emily after 25 years of marriage which puts him in an odd public depression cycle. Making friends with a local Casanova Jacob, he explores his manhood and discovers.
I love the twist in this movie! In this movie, we can say that our lives are tangled. The story…that made me laughed…cried…laughed and cried at the same time. I can say that no romantic-comedy brush has ever touched me more than this one. This movie discussed marriage, the pros of being a single woman/guy, dependability and all the consequences of your actions (in terms of relationship). If you want a good laugh then you should watch this movie! This movie is definitely fastidious!
Characters had also excelled in their own roles to play. It’s funny to see Emma Stone’s perfect locks. Despite being sodden to the bones her hair still looks amazing! The Classic sexiness. . . .Thanks to Kevin Bacon! And it’s invigorating to see Steve Carrell in a role that is quite far from his usual character types.
And of course, in every movie we saw there’s always a lesson in it…In this movie, I learned to never give up when you know that you have found your soul mate. Smile and be contented!

A journey that ended

The first movie that Ι will share with you is the Hollywood movie Ι really loved….
Picking up from Part 1, where Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint), and Hermione (Emma Watson) continue their quest of finding and destroying Lord Voldemort’s (Ralph Fiennes) three remaining Horcruxes. It was fun to see Harry, Ron, and Hermione grow up throughout the past years.
For me, the movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 was really a fictional movie to date. The first part took us out on the road, but this time we are back in Hogwarts. My favorite scene was the battle of the Hogwarts, and when Harry finally finds out the truth of Professor Snape and Dumbledore’s death.
The anticipation arouse along my veins when I watched the movie. I laughed and cried, as if I lost my kindness…. But seriously speaking, I can say that the enduring characters really affect me.
Others said, the last movie was at least kid-friendly. I think it would be better if they had followed the book a little bit more, and if it was longer. But the fair share of death and nasty scene was presented in the movie, when Voldemort walks through blood. And also the film portrayed much feeling and solemn intensity.
Sad to say, it ends. Yes, journey is over, but I will always put in my mind and remember that it’s not over yet….
